Description
Artists' book consists of three components: base, grape vine cradle, and artists' book. A cloth covered clamshell was created with Ethafoam supports to house the base and a Volara harness with linen ties to secure the cradle. A polyester film tuxedo box was created to house the book and then placed in a larger handmade paper tuxedo box with Ethafoam so that the bos was the same size as the base and could be stored on top of it in the enclosure. The clamshell was created using binder's board, PVA, and Cialux bookcloth.
