Description
This is a brown paper covered scrapbook album containing images of the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County’s Bookmobile from the 1930’s. There are silver gelatin photographs throughout the scrapbook adhered to thick black paper supports. The book has suffered water damage, and as a result, all paper supports and photographs are cockled. The original album cover is fragile and in poor condition along the joints. Treatment was conducted to reduce the cockling throughout the scrapbook and provide page supports with a new encapsulated binding, while incorporating the original covers within new covers.
