Description
Henry Francois Farny is well known for his depictions of Native Americans in paintings and photographs. This is a collection of 12 photographic portraits by Farny. There are six black and white silver gelatin measuring 5 x 7 inches and six hand‐colored silver gelatin photographs measuring 10.5 x 10.5 inches that are mounted to ‘Crescent Quality Boards’ that measure approximately 28 (W) x 21 (H) inches. Photographs are placed on boards with two small black and white images mounted above two hand‐colored images.
