Description
The pamphlet was received with lost covers and broken sewing in the back. The textblock was mechanically removed from an inherently acidic pamphlet binder. The title page was surface cleaned with an Absorbene smoke sponge and the tears along the fore edge were mended with Tengujo tissue and wheat starch paste. Also, the tideline stain one the title page was locally reduced with filtered water and controlled drying with blotting paper. The spine of the textblock was cleaned with a poultice of methyl cellulose and lined with Sekishu tissue and wheat starch paste. The last gathering was re-sewn with a free guard through the original sewing holes and through the Sekishu lining. The pamphlet was rehoused in a tuxedo box inside a two flap chemise.
