Abstract
Description
This is a square textile (about the size of a handkerchief) measuring 21 inches x 21 inches. It is light gold and dark gold colored with three decorative border panels and a rectangular central landscape. The landscape contains imagery of buildings surrounded by a courtyard, horse drawn carriages and a flag that reads, “CENTENNIAL EXPOSITION OF THE OHIO VALLEY 1788 ‐ 1888 CINCINNATI” The object arrived folded into fourths and unhoused.
