Description

This is a silver gelatin panoramic photograph from 1947. It suffers from being rolled tightly and from edge tears that were previously repaired with a pressure sensitive tape. Treatment consisted of humidifying the photograph in a cold humidity chamber and drying flat under a pressing stack. Remaining pressure sensitive tape was removed and tears were re-aligned and mended. The flattened print was housed in a custom matted enclosure.
