Abstract
Description
This item is a silver-colored circular metal coin/token from the Cincinnati Industrial Exposition in 1872. It is roughly 1 ¼” in diameter. The recto of the token features text that reads “Cincinnati 1872 Industrial Exposition” as well as an image of some of the buildings from the exposition. The verso features text around the perimeter that appears to read “Manufactures Products And The Late Space Eight Acres”, encircling an image of decorative geometric shapes. This item arrived at the lab housed in a small light blue paper envelope.
