Description
This is an oversized atlas of human body x‐rays and is the only copy in the Winkler Center collection. The binding is a half cloth binding, with boards covered with a thin paper. This book was brought to the Preservation Lab to receive conservation treatment since the upper cover had suffered water damaged and was warped. In addition, the inner hinges were breaking, and the end sheets were extremely dirty. The cover will be humidified and flattened, the inner hinges will be reinforced, and the book will be housed in a corrugated clamshell box with an integrated cradle.
