Description
This oversized photograph album was received by the lab with the plates detached from the binding's cloth hinges. Rather than rebinding, the loose plates were housed in a separate tray below the binding in the same corrugated box for better preservation and handling. The four "Photographic Views of..." bindings were treated in the lab to remove heavy soiling from the plates prior to digitization.
