Description

This is a charcoal portrait on a thin laid beige paper that was received by the lab due to water and mold damage. The item is unframed, and the frame is missing. The charcoal portrait is adhered overall to an acidic backing board with an adhesive paper (possibly heat set?). The water damage and mold extend through multiple layers from the upper portrait through the backing board. There is a large stain from mold and water tide lines along the bottom right corner that is visually disfiguring.
