Description
This 17th century text contains an unique binding structure that indicates the covers are possibly contemporary to the text and bound in a manner that was either a repair or perhaps a temporary bind. This is a full leather binding with blind tooled edges, however, there are no pastedowns. The inside of the boards are exposed. The textblock is sewn on two recessed alum tawed thongs that are laced in through the boards as the only method of board attachment.
